The Bengals made a series of cuts today including some pretty big names.

Chris Perry, the teams 2004 first-round pick out of Michigan, was cut after a run with the Bengals that involved more fumbles than touchdowns. I'm happy to see him go.

Gary Russell was cut just days after being claimed off the waiver-wire from the Pittsburgh Steelers. I suppose his acquisition was little more than a security blanket in case none of the backs the Bengals coveted was available at the end of the draft.

Eric Henderson, a player I was always high on, was cut today since he was replaced yesterday by a younger, less injury-prone, more promising ACC pass rusher in Michael Johnson.
