Joe Dumars is a very proud man, and rightfully so. He put together a group of misfits that no one else wanted, and they took him to six straight Eastern Conference Finals and two championship appearances, winning one.

At times, he's been a genius. Getting something out of nothing, like when he pulled off a sign and trade for little known Ben Wallace from Orlando when Grant Hill bolted on him.

Trading a high-scoring slasher in Jerry Stackhouse for a jump shooter that wasn't fitting in with Mike in Washington.

He picked up Chauncey Billups, who was considered a bust after being drafted No. 3 in the '97 draft, and turned him into a Finals MVP.
