The Minnesota Vikings, as many believe, are a quarterback away from winning a Super Bowl. 

People feel that with weapons like RB Adrian Peterson, WR Bernard Berrian, rookie WR Percy Harvin and the defensive front of Jared Allen and the two Williamsons at the defensive tackle spots, all they need is a quarterback of the current caliber of a Brett Favre to lead to them to the big game. 

I do not share that view.

The New York Jets had Brett Favre and the major contribution they got from him was more drama in an already tense NYC metro area scene. 

The Jets missed the playoffs in spite of is this acquisition.
