Atlanta Braves Focus On Pitching During Second Day of Draft

With day two of the MLB draft in the books, the Atlanta Braves continued to go after pitching.

They drafted a total of 13 pitchers out of 27 selections on Wednesday, going the college route instead of the high school route with most of their picks.

They did draft several infielders, including three shortstops, two third basemen, two catchers, and a first baseman. They also addressed a dire need by taking four outfielders, with two of them being the last two picks of the day in the 29th and 30th rounds.

One thing they did not mind doing on day two was select players with last names that are sure to be difficult for the fans to pronounce.
