Bob Geren’s Questionable Tactics Continue

Can Bob Geren ever actually make a good move? The answer is: only once in a blue moon, and tonight's game was another example of how his moves rarely work to better the Oakland A's.

First of all Kurt Suzuki should have never been batting lead off. He has been the A's best hitter and has driven in 10 runs in the past 10 games as mentioned by Ray Fosse in the broadcast.

Suzuki should have been batting fifth or even in the cleanup position. This leads to the next point: the second hottest hitter on the team is Ryan Sweeney, who's also been playing stellar defense, so there was no reason to keep him out of the lineup even if he was a little sore from yesterday's marathon.
