Carlos Beltran Undergoing Testing for Swine Flu

Met center fielder Carlos Beltran has been absent from the lineup since being taken out of this past Saturday’s game. It was stated that he may have reacted badly to a cortisone shot he was given for his ailing knee, causing stomach pains and vile excretions.

Now, a report has come out saying that an SNY employee was recently diagnosed with the media porking influenza, also known as Swine Flu. Since SNY employees are in continuous contact with the players, including flying together on the same charter planes, it may now be assumed that Carlos Beltran has come down with this sickness.
