Dishonorable. Cowardly. Foolish. Selfish. Dumb. Those are the first words I heard many a Nats fan use to characterize the managerial decision by Bruce Bochy to walk Zimmeran intentionally on Wednesday afternoon.

Ryan Zimmeran's 30-game hitting streak officially came to an end on May 13, 2009 in San Francisco. But what happened in the seventh inning was unforgivable!

Back during the time of my grandfather's playing days, the intentional pass was issued only for those instances where a critical game was on the line, especially in the eighth, ninth, or extra innings.
