Cubs-Reds: Strange Events Can’t Prevent Cubs Win

The Chicago Cubs got a big win Tuesday night against the Cincinnati Reds, but it wouldn't be a Cubs game with out an old tabby and an annoying fan.

Even though the Cubs went through five pitchers, their bats were really the deciding factor in a key win.

Rich Harden would start the Cubs pitching with six strong innings. Through six innings Harden only gave up three hits and two runs. His heater was also on Tuesday night, striking out eight batters.

Aaron Heilman would follow up Harden with an inning, putting down one batter. Cotts, Marmol and Vizcaino would follow Heilman with a combined four strikeouts and six hits through three innings.
