Cubs/Sox Report (May 26)

Well it is late May and the Cubs have lost eight straight and the Sox are a sub .500 team, not good Chicago fans.

Last week, Jake Peavy spurned south side fans with his decision to stay in San Diego and Peavy’s Padres went on to sweep the Cubs in San Diego. It is still somewhat early, as they have only played a quarter of the season, but there have been some noticeable trends on both sides of Chicago, bad trends, not good ones, LOL.

Starting with the Sox, Josh Fields has more strikeouts (48) than total bases (46) and he is on the brink of being sent down or benched, both are viable options.

Carlos Quentin came back from last season only to be banged up this season, and he injured his foot in Anaheim....
