What an awkward sensation. A baseball game ends and the Tigers didn’t win? It’s been awhile since that last happened. More than a week, actually. The loss snapped the Tigers’ seven game winning streak and was the first of the homestand. Oh, and it’s the first loss in a weekend game this year.

Armando Galarraga — The kneejerk reaction I’m fighting here is to lump this on his pitching today. He did, after all, give up all four runs. He did give up a couple of long bombs that were caught on the warning track.
