Detroit Tigers: May MVPs and Disappointments

It seems like I just got done doing this for April, my how time flies while you're having fun.
At the end of May, the Tigers are 28-21, four games up on the Chicago White Sox.
This time last month, the Royals seemed strong, but like I have said before, a lot of teams start off strong but trail away when you get into the stretch.
It's not even into the "dog days" of summer and the Royals have started to trail off.
The White Sox seem to be the only other team out of the Central that actually has a chance to challenge the Tigers, but like I said, it's still to early.
