Detroit Tigers Win Sixth Straight, Sweep Rangers

The Texas Rangers have one of the most prolific offensive squads in baseball this season. Against the Detroit Tigers, the Rangers were only able to muster six runs in the three game series.

It all started with Dontrelle Willis getting on track with his first victory in a Detroit uniform. If Willis can become a consistent force in the rotation, then the Tigers may very well be the best team in the American League.

Justin Verlander started game two of the series, a kept his hot streak going by allowing only one run and striking out eight in six innings.
