How Aramis Ramirez’s Injury Will Affect the Cubs

The Cubs have lost star third baseman Aramis Ramirez for at least a month, with all probability that he will miss closer to two months due to a dislocated shoulder suffered in a May 8th game against the Brewers. Ouch. 

I believe Ramirez to be the Cubs best player, and their least-affordable injury casualty.  Although no team likes injuries to its stars, I fear the Cubs will miss Ramirez in a big way.

Ramirez has always been a good hitter, but had arguably his best season as a professional last year.
