Kansas City Royals a Surprise In First Place, but Still Some Concerns

Looking back over the past 20 years of Royals history, good season starts are few and far between.  So with a 5-3 record after the first week and a half, I, as a Royals fan, should be very happy.  Well, I am happy with the record and the many surprises, but there are also several things that are worrying me so far. 

First I'll talk about the pleasant surprises.  The bullpen, which I was worried about entering the season, has been lights out.  Other than a blown save by Kyle Farnsworth on Opening Day, the Royals bullpen has only given up three runs in sevengames.  Robinson Tejada, Juan Cruz, and Farnsworth have been throwing straight smoke and Joakim Soria has ...
