Kyle Lohse Pulled after Two Innings

Kyle Lohse allowed one earned in two innings of work Wednesday night. Lohse left after Cardinal trainer Barry Weinberg visited the mound in the top of the third.

"Kyle was experiencing a burning sensation in his forearm," said team officials. Keep in mind that Lohse had been hit by a pitch last week, and was forced to miss his scheduled start Tuesday night. Lohse's pitches appeared to be missing high, and his last pitch nearly flew over catcher Yadier Molina's head. BLAKE'S TAKE: The last thing the Cardinals need is another injured pitcher.
