MLB: “O” Dear Washington

The Washington Nationals and jersey manufacturers Majestic both had egg on their faces.

For three innings of the Nationals' 3-2 loss to the Florida Marlins, Adam Dunn and Ryan Zimmerman wore defective jerseys.

The Jerseys supplied by Majestic had the letter "O" missing from the team's name—it spelled the "Natinals'"rather than the customary "Nationals".

Majestic Athletic president Jim Pisani said in a statement about the glaring mistake, “All of us at Majestic Athletic want to apologize to both the Washington Nationals and Major League Baseball for accidentally omitting the ‘O’ in two Nationals jerseys.”
