Every decade has its set of ferocious hitters that make pitchers wake up in a cold sweat. Who were the most fearsome guys from the 1990s, though?
Here's a slideshow of the team's lineup. Some of the choices are easy; you've gotta have Barry Bonds and the Big Unit out there. Don't be skeptical of Tony Gwynn's inclusion, though. Any clubhouse caterer can tell you the man had an inner ferocity that could not be matched, particularly if there were chicken wings around.
