New York Mets: The Most Unpredictable Team in Baseball

Over the past three years, what was expected from the Mets was not what happened.  In 2006 the Mets dominated their way to the playoffs only to lose to a less than great Cardinals team in game seven of the NLCS.

That was a huge disappointment, everything looked to be ready for the Mets and that they would indeed go all the way and win the World Series.  That didn't happen, Adam Wainwright shut the door on the Mets' dreams of becoming 2006 World Series Champions. 

Wainwright threw a curveball that broke perfectly to Carlos Beltran and he got the backwards K.

Mets fans couldn't believe it, "we were supposed to win" was said by many Mets fans and players.  But, they didn't, I watched Yad...
