NY Mets: Errors Are a Part of The Game, Not a Personal Vendetta Against Santana

Last night, the Mets seven-game win streak was snapped for a variety of reasons.

Johan Santana has not allowed an earned run his last two starts but does not have the wins to show for it, which is a shame, but it is the game and he knows it, and should not harbor any resentment towards his teammates.

The most glaring part of last night's loss were the errors committed by David Wright and Jose Reyes which led to unearned runs.

David Wright made a throw across the diamond on one hop that would have most likely been a routine play for Carlos Delgado to scoop but Fernando Tatis is not an experienced first baseman, and he was not able to come up with the ball on the backhand stab.
