Pirates “Ship” Off Nate McLouth

I'm a little taken back on this move. And as of now, I still haven't stopped to look at the players they received in return for Nate "The Great."

I'm sure these players of whom I have never heard are going to turn the Pirates into the next version of the Tampa Bay Rays.

In moving McLouth, the Pirates have already given up on the season, and have destined us to another losing season. This will make 16 consecutive losing seasons, and it will be a Major League record.

The players the Pirates will receive are, pitcher Charlie Morton, minor league outfielder Gorkys Hernandez, and minor league pitcher Jeff Locke.

Morton was 4-8 with a 6.15 ERA for the Braves last season.
