Only problem with that is, any team interested would force the Giants to pick up at least half of Rowand's $44 million remaining on his contract.
Even knowing that, what team is going to pay more than $20 million to a guy who's well past his prime? With the Giants dropping their fifth straight game last night, they could be looking to unload more than just Aaron Rowand. Maybe Randy Johnson could be had since he's not exactly working out the way the Giants had hoped.
