The Seattle Mariners finished season series number seven with two Jose Lopez game-winning-walk-off singles. The Mariners and Oakland Athletics battled and battled, while they almost played enough for a four game series.
However based off the late inning “clutch” heroics of second baseman Jose Lopez the Seattle Mariners played well enough to get two out of three at home and raise their division leading record to 15 wins and 10 losses.
