Twins-Angels: Kevin Slowey Solves Mechanics; Stymies Angels

Four series into the season, the Twins have finally secured their first series win.

In game one, Jason Kubel took the Twins on his back and reversed a five-run deficit to lead the team to a 11-9 win.

Game two saw Kevin Slowey take the mound, hoping to improve on his previous outing. Against the Blue Jays, Slowey found too many bats and gave up five runs on 13 hits in his 5.1 innings of work.

During a midweek film session, Slowey discovered, and later corrected, a mechanical flaw in his delivery. Armed with this new information, Slowey faced an Angels line-up that lacked Vlad Guerrero, but still boasted a very potent offense.
