What Happened to Consistency?

The Mets have already been tagged as a team that does not know how to get it done in the clutch. The Mets never seem to get the big hit, and today’s series finale against the Cardinals proved that they are unable to get it done when it really needs to be done, and yet, here we stand at 6-6, already five games behind the division-leading Marlins, who amazingly are at 11-1.

Do I think that this trend will continue for Florida? There isn’t a chance in hell that Florida will be this good for the whole season. I actually heard a person ask today if the Marlins would have the best season ever; that is preposterous. At this rate, they would be on pace for 148 wins, which is something an MLB All Star team couldn’t pull...
