Where Is Ben Sheets?

Ben Sheets was a good pitcher with a bright future as the ace for the Milwaukee Brewers staff from 2003 to July 2008. I say July 2008 because the Brewers acquired CC Sabathia from the Cleveland Indians in early July of '08.

It was really all down hill from there for Sheets.

Sheets then took a back seat to the fire balling Sabathia. Sabathia would pitch complete games on three days rest, propelling the Brewers to the playoffs as the NL Wild Card winner.

Sheets struggled, and filed for free agency after the Brewers' first round loss to the eventual World Series Champions, the Philadelphia Phillies three games to one.
