Yankees-Indians: My Opinion on Sabathia and the Loss

The New York Yankees lost to the Cleveland Indians by a score of 10-2. CC Sabathia started but got a no decision. CC Sabathia pitched 5.2 innings. Jose Veras got the loss.

This is not the outcome us Yankee fans wanted in the new stadium. It could have been a historic game for the Yankees for about six innings, but the seventh changed all that.

The Yankee bullpen did not do the job in the seventh inning. Simply put, Jose Veras did not have good control, and Damaso Marte did not have a good outing. Together, they gave up nine runs in the inning.

The Yankee fans were looking for something early to latch on to and get excited about, but nothing like that scenario happened.
