Zito Gets No Help…Again

If a starting pitcher goes eight innings and gives up two runs and only five hits, wouldn't you expect him to end up with a win? Well, unfortunately, this wasn't the case for Barry Zito tonight, because the San Francisco Giants once again wasted another great outing from their starter. 

This low-powered offense for the Giants was only able to put up a stingy six hits and a single run against the San Diego Padres tonight. Giants fans have seen this offense struggle quite often, for all of the Giants pitchers this season, after they pitched a great game, but it seems like Zito gets the worst of this.
