2003, 1996, 1984 and possibly 2008. These are considered among the greatest drafts in NBA history, producing stars of both the past and the present.
The Question is often asked, "Who is the next (insert great player)?"
I think these drafts give us a clue.
The idea that history resets about every twelve years. If only in the NBA.
To prove this point, I will create the "Next List.†This will be a list of great players and their “Heirs,†for lack of a better word.
While the NBA draft first started in 1947 according to Wikkipedia. However the Second World War, (1939-1944*) would decimate the young male population of the world.
