Nobody gave them a chance, not the gamblers, not the pundits, not the fans. Yet when the dust settled and they walked off the court, it was the Orlando Magic 107, Cleveland Cavaliers 106.

Orlando's franchise player, Dwight Howard, scored 30 points and had 13 rebounds, as the Magic rallied from a 15-point halftime deficit.

The Cavs came into Game One of the Eastern Conference finals as nine point favorites against Orlando. But that's why there's no such thing as a sure thing.

Cleveland, behind everybody's Next Greatest Player Ever, LeBron James, is expected to win this series. Perhaps they still will.

But the road there is now a bit bumpier than what they expected.
