Surprise! The Los Angeles Lakers closed out the NBA Finals with a win last night in Orlando. Who saw that coming?!
I thought it would go six the way Orlando had played against Cleveland in the Eastern Conference Finals. However the Magic ran into a superior defensive opponent with Los Angeles having the length to guard the bigger Orlando perimeter players. Not that LA is a great defensive team, just a tough matchup for the Magic.
Kobe was… well… Kobe. Congrats to Bryant on getting his first championship without Shaquille O’Neal. I guess SportsCenter can stop mentioning that now.
