Denver, capital city of the Centenial State, Colorado is a beautiful site to see at the footsteps of the picturesque Rocky Mountains.
Denver is located exactly 5,280 feet above sea level, making it the Mile High city, an advantage used by teams in all sports. The Nuggets have been masters of the fast break, and the Broncos wore teams down with running the ball.
Denver is a great sports city, being named "Best Sports City" in 1998 by The Sporting News, and has a deep sports tradition.
The Broncos are the most senior members, entering the AFL in 1960, and later the NFL in 1970, winning back to back Super Bowls a decade ago.
