Eras Ending For Pistons and Spurs? I Don’t Think So.

With the first round of the NBA playoffs coming to an end, there has been a theme buzzing around—the End of an Era.

This headline has pertained specifically to the Pistons and the Spurs, who both have already been eliminated from the playoffs in four and five games, respectively.

This is surprising given the fact the Detroit Pistons have been to six straight Eastern Conference finals.

The Spurs, who have one of the greatest power forwards of all time in Tim Duncan, have been to at least the Conference Semifinals every year since 1996.

With the rise of new teams like the Cavaliers in the East and the Blazers in the West, it's hard to see these to dynastic teams rise again.
