G.S. Warriors: A Cinderella Story Leads to a Mufasa Free Fall.

The Warriors had everything going for them. For the first time since 1993-1994, the Golden State Warriors made the playoffs back in 2006-2007 season, finishing with a record of 42-40. Their Cinderella story continued as they upset the first-seeded Dallas Mavericks, four games to two.

The next year, the Warriors improved even more, going 48-34 and finished ninth in the Western Conference and barely missing the playoffs. Everybody had this Warriors team to become one of the Western elites in the next season. That did not happen.
