Has the NBA’s Eastern Conference Overtaken the West?

To me, many don't understand the difference between the two conferences.
History has shown us over the past few seasons that Western teams tend to finish with a more attractive record as a whole. It is often perceived as if it is the more difficult conference to get a win in.
However, as this season has proved, that is the farthest thing from the truth.
To many are hung up on that Western conference dominance foolishness. The West is not better than the East—it's not even close.
