KING JAMES WINS MVP AWARD

According to AP reports, Lebron James was named the NBA’s MVP today at 4:00pm. The announcement was made at a press conference held at James’ alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio.

Lebron led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a team record 66 wins and have attained home court advantage throughout the playoffs as the overall number one seed.

During the course of the regular season, Lebron averaged 28.4 ppg, 7.6 rpg and 7.2 apg. He is the third youngest to win the award and the second player to average at least 26 points, six rebounds and six assists a game for five consecutive seasons. (Oscar Robertson)
