Though the Lakers defeated Utah in five games, their weakness on the defensive end was exposed. Los Angeles is arguably the most talented team in the league, but doesn’t have the killer instinct.
In each game against Utah, the Lakers led by double digits but allowed the Jazz to cut the lead to single digits, and even lost Game 3 88-86 after being up big in the second half.
