Lakers Hold Off Magic Thanks to Missed Call

If there is one play that will be remembered in these NBA Finals, it came with just 31.4 seconds left in Game Four. Derek Fisher drained a three-pointer to put the Los Angeles Lakers ahead by three.

Yet, one big question lingers. Why was there no offensive foul called on Kobe Bryant? The shot is going to be played on ESPN, local news across the country, etc.

That elbow to the face of Jameer Nelson by Kobe Bryant will live on for some time. Where was the whistle?

Last time I checked, if there's an elbow to the face of someone either by an offensive player or a defensive player it is a foul. Is there another rule stating that Kobe Bryant is immune to such calls?
