How did this happen? The Magic let this game escape them.
The Magic were supposed to make their free throws and they failed to execute at that. The big statistic of this game was that they went 23 for 37 at the charity stripe. Hedo Turkoglu missed five of those free throws and Dwight Howard missed eight of them.
Another thing is that they had more turnovers early on. The Magic had 17 turnovers throughout the game while the Lakers only had seven.
