Playoff basketball, is there anything better? Of course there is, but still, it's awesome. So when Uncle Sam and my propensity for working weekends teamed up to give me the necessary tax refund and time off to head to Dallas for Mavericks-Spurs: Game IV (looks much better in Roman Numerals, don't you think?), I knew I had to take advantage.
I've seen the Mavs a few times. I saw them play in D.C. this season, and I even went to see them play a preseason game at a local college in the D.C. area. Sure, Dirk didn't play, but I got my first glimpse of the Streakin' Puerto Rican, J.J. Barea.
