Michael Beasley Drafted Second; Seventh in ROY Voting

No surprise here.

Well not anymore anyways.

After entering the season with huge expectations, Michael Beasley has finished 7th in Rookie of the Year voting.

Derrick Rose was the runaway winner after having a stellar first year in the NBA.

The Miami Heat's first round pick, and second overall pick in the draft, finished behind players such as O.J. Mayo, Brook Lopez, Russell Westbrook, Eric Gordon, and Kevin Love.

Many will see this as the Miami Heat making a mistake in the NBA draft. Well its not their fault the lottery prevented them from drafting Derrick Rose. But let us take a look at what Beasley did this year.
