Mike Brown Walks Away With COY Award

After the culmination of a franchise-best 66-win season, 38-year-old Coach Mike Brown of the Cleveland Cavaliers, won the Coach of the Year award. He led the Cavs to a second Central Division title and the top overall seed in the NBA Playoffs as well this year.

True, Brown may have coached the team on many fundamental skills to the actual physical gameplay. He must have done a good job as this Cleveland squad is breaking franchise records left and right. 

However, there is a little more to the coach's approach to this team.

Brown began by preaching trust to his team in training camp, as he tried to build a cohesive team instead of a bunch of punk superstars looking out for themselves.
