Nuggets Can Make Case For Letting J.R. Smith Go

This will not be popular given how well J.R. played during this postseason.

People will talk about how much he has matured and how he started to help others by passing first and shooting second.

But that just proves how many people have forgotten who J.R. really is. He is a streaky shooter who can shoot you into a game or kill your team with three straight "open looks." 

In the regular season he ranked fifth in threes taken and fifth in threes made. That comes out to a .390 this year and a lowly .370 for his career.

Essentially, he takes so many that he is bound to get hot at some point and go on a run. Plus he only averages 11 points a game with all those three attempts, that should te...
