Everything was going well for Boston. They had Kevin Garnett and were heading into the playoffs, looking to easily beat the Bulls in the first round.

But then disaster struck. Doc Rivers announced Thursday that Kevin Garnett is "out" with that injury. And right he was. But how will Boston respond? Can Derrick Rose and the Bulls actually beat Boston? Questions have to be answered.

It won't be horrible, but it could be bad. Garnett's absence will affect Boston on both sides of the ball, more defensively than on offense.
