Willy ended his four-year college career by leading the UB Bulls to its first winning season, 8-6, in ten years since joining Division I-A, its first Mid-American Conference title, and its first bowl appearance at any level.
Willy started all four years at UB. He started the final eight games of his true freshman season and completed 61% of his passes for 1481 yards. In 2006, he played in and started the first eight games before sustaining a season-ending thumb injury. That year he went 138 of 231 for 1391 yards and threw six touchdowns and six interceptions.<...
