Dorsey Possible Trade Rumors: Analysis

There are some rumblings on the net about another big trade between Atlanta and KC involving KC's Glenn Dorsey. For those of you who don't remember, Dorsey is the behemoth DT out of LSU who KC took with the 5th pick in last years draft.

The rumors say the trade is Atlanta's 1st round pick (24) and their 3rd round (90) while KC would be on the hook for the rest of Dorsey's guarantee (18 million).

Dorsey is the perfect specimen for DT in the 4-3 defense, however there are concerns about his footwork and his size in a 3-4 scheme. The thinking is he's too light to play the nose, and not nimble or fast enough to play the end in a 3-4 where DE's often are expected to drop into coverage on RB's and TE's.
