ESPN Sports Information Database Site Goes Live

ESPN is expanding further and further into the territories of other companies with the launch of ESPNDB, which went live today. The question is whether it will encroach on other existing companies like STATS and Elias Sports Bureau. If they are driven out of business, will ESPN control the sports statistics and information available to other networks?
