If Kansas City decides to keep Larry Johnson, what roll will he play? As the Chiefs have a New England connection, is he the next Corey Dillon or does he stay the same old Johnson?

The Kansas City Chiefs need to put in a running game plan that Johnson can excel in and contribute to the team. Granted Johnson's foot injury hampered him through most of the season, but the motivation and drive was not there.

Johnson has been with the Chiefs for six years now, and his most productive season was 2005. That year, he rushed for 1,750 yards and 21 total touchdowns with a 5.2 rushing average on 336 attempts.

Those were Priest Holmes-type numbers, but Homles played into the system unlike Johnson has been.<...
