Jacksonville Jaguars’ “Mr. Irrelevant”: 7th Round Tiquan Underwood To Surprise

The 2009 NFL Draft was ripe with Wide Receiver talent and Rutgers' Kenny Britt was projected and taken in the first round by the Tennessee Titans. 

But what about that other Rutgers guy? All the hype of Kenny Britt overshadowed another receiver who flew just as high during their 2007 campaign.

Tiquan Underwood (6'1", 178lbs.) caught 65 passes for 1,100 yards but took a backseat statistically in 2008 collecting only 40 catches for 494 yards last fall. The Jaguars recognized this talent and used their final pick of the 2009 draft to select Underwood with the 253rd overall pick of the draft.
