Jaguars Finally Reach Deal To Sign Torry Holt

Seven-time Pro Bowler, Torry Holt, will be playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2009.

The Jaguars have shown an enormous amount of interest in Holt since the talks and negotiations began in late March.

It was reported that the Jaguars and Holt were nearing a deal since late last week and this evening, it was announced that an agreement was made.

The 10-year veteran, formerly of the St. Louis Rams gives the Jaguar offense a much needed boost. Jaguar WR's Dennis Northcutt, Mike Walker, and Troy Williamson were not considered No. 1 receiving options. The six-foot, 190 lb. Holt is definitely No. 1 on the depth chart at the moment.
