James Anderson and Nate Salley Become Latest Panthers To Sign RFA Deals

On Monday, the Panthers got two more players to sign their restricted free agent tenders, allowing Carolina to retain the services of linebacker James Anderson and safety Nate Salley.

Tight end Jeff King, also a restricted free agent, signed his RFA tender earlier in the offseason.

Salley, Anderson, and King comprise the total of Carolina's restricted free agent class this offseason.

In 2008, Salley and Anderson both went to work on special teams, with Salley finishing fifth for the Panthers with eight stops on kickoffs and punt coverage. He played in all 16 games after recovering from the knee injury that shortened his season in 2007.
